Snappy Lunch at Canton-I

The only reason why we decided to dine in Canton-I the other day was because we do not need to line up or wait for a table. I hate it when I have to wait for long time before getting a seat to dine. Their food may be good but there is no thrill for me to do so if it is for a bowl of noodles or porridge.

We were lucky because many outstation Chinese has gone back to their hometown leaving us KL residents the luxury of having our own traffic free territory :o). The only problem I had on that day is limitation of time to enjoy my meal. We've only got less than an hour time to spare before I have to rush for my doctor's appointment at Medicare Clinic.

We both ordered their Hong Kong signature prawn wonton noodle and their Hong Kong milk tea. I have to say their noodle was good. I like the crunchiness of the noodle. The only thing I dislike is the alkaline taste. The best bit about the noodles are the four big wonton.

The one thing I wish I shouldn't have ordered is their steamed piggy bun with red bean paste.

Hong Kong Signature Prawn Wonton Noodle. Where is the wonton?
I like the noodles and wonton. Just wish they serve plain prawn wonton instead of mixing them with minced pork
