Prawns in Special Sauce

It's not easy to cook when I've not cooked for almost half a year now. Worst when I am on a "low salt" diet plan. Anyway, I will not elaborate on my "low salt" diet plan. I've in fact ditched the stupid idea. The whole end result just taste bad.

I'm still feeling tired from yesterday's trip. To make thing worst I am still a little unwell. Here is what I had for lunch today. I've cooked a little too much for the two of us. My friend decided to hop out and skip lunch at the very last minutes. Good thing it taste good. The both of us managed to finished up this dish over lunch.

Something I invented but tasted decently good
Here is my simple recipe for prawns in special sauce.

200g Tesco Finest raw prawns
2 tomatoes cut into cubes
a bunch of spring onions
1 onion (slice to teeny weeny bit size)
2 clove garlic
3 tbsp Heinz Tomato ketchup
3 tbsp Plum sauce
3 tbsp Thai chilli

1 tbsp shaoxing wine
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute the onion and garlic till they turn slightly brown. Add in the tomatoes. Stir fry for few minutes. Add in the tomato ketchup, plum sauce, thai chilli, shaoxing wine, salt and pepper. Let the gravy boil. Add in prawns and spring onions. Cook till the prawns are cook. Dish out and serve with rice.

I believe this make a very good fusion style pasta sauce too.
