Easy & Healthy Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Ka Prao)

It has been awhile since I last post any real food here. I just thought it will be useful if I were to write this special Thai Basil Chicken recipe down here just so I can refer to in the future- just in case I forget. I tend to have short memories this days. Yaya... sign of aging I know.

Try this if you are craving for some Thai. All you need is to cook rice, fry sunny eggs and dish up this special Thai Basil Chicken. Pork lovers may substitute chicken with pork.

3 Chicken Breast
Long Beans
Red Eye Bird Chillies
Thai Basil

Dark Soya Sauce
Soya Sauce
Oyster Sauce
Sugar or palm sugar
  1. Place chicken breast in food processor. Blend a little till it become minced
  2. Pound chillies and garlic with mortar and pestle
  3. Chop long bean about 1cm long
  4. Saute garlic till brown. 
  5. Add the minced chicken. Stir fry for a minute or two.
  6. Add long bean, chilli and seasonings. Again stir fry for a minute or two.
  7. Finally add in Thai Basil. Give it a couple of stir.
  8. Serve
