Fettuccine with Prawns and Tomato Cream Sauce

It has been awhile since I last cooked something creamy. I couldn't resist not having a plate when I saw The Pioneer Woman's pasta with tomato cream sauce. Here is my version of fettuccine with prawns and tomato cream sauce.

The sauce is to die for. It's so creamy and rich with tomato flavour. The crunchy prawns add "ummph" to the rich sauce.

2 coil fettuccine 
120g Raw Prawns
1 Red Onion
4 Garlic
1 can of Tomato
Double Cream
Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp dried basil
Salt, Pepper, Sugar
  1. Cook pasta according to package direction. Drain and set aside
  2. Melt butter. Stir fry prawns till almost cook. Set aside
  3. Next, stir fry garlic and onions till brown.
  4. Pour in a can of tomato. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.
  5. Add in cream, cheese and basil
  6. Stir in prawns and fettuccine
