Sweet & Spicy Squids

Here is a perfect one pot meal for the family. I don't know if this meal exist. I invented the recipe on my own (crazy things I do when I run out of idea what to cook for meal).

Serves 4
6 yellow mini sweet peppers, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 pack of 31 g Asda Thai Basil
1 pack of 410 g Tesco Fishmonger Raw Prepared Squids, clean and sliced
3 tbsp Siracha sauce
3 tbsp tomato sauce
3 tbsp LKK plum sauce
2 clove garlic, diced
2 shallots, diced
Fish sauce
White Pepper

  1. Season fish with pepper
  2. Saute garlic and shallots till brown.
  3. Add sweet peppers and carrots. Cook for two or three minutes (longer if you like your vegetables softer. Shorter time frame if you like your vegetables hard). You may want to add a little bit of water if the pan is too dry (best to do if you like gravy).
  4. Mix the squids, siracha sauce, tomato sauce, and plum sauce to the vegetables.
  5. Stir in the Thai basil
  6. Season with fish sauce, sugar and pepper (if necessary)
