Asian version German Cookies

This is my first attempt. You don't need to be a genius to get the recipe right. The whole preparation to baking process takes less than an hour. The recipe is almost similar to melting moments.

Here is my version of chocolate flavoured Asian version of German cookies.

125 g butter
35 g icing sugar
8 tbsp vanilla sugar
125 g potato starch
70 g all purpose flour
10 g cocoa powder
  1. Preheat oven 150 degree
  2. Sift potato starch, flour and cocoa powder twice. Set aside
  3. Beat the icing sugar, vanilla sugar and soft butter till light and fluffy
  4. Slowly add in the sifted flour. Mix till all ingredient incorporated to form a soft dough
  5. Divide and shape the dough into ball shape weighting 8 gram each
  6. Place on prepared baking tray.
  7. Press the dough lightly with a fork to create a flatten straight line pattern cookies
  8. Bake for 15 minutes
  9. Remove the cookies from oven and leave it to cool on rack before storing them in jar
