Easy Fried Rice in Rice Cooker (One Pot Meal)

Here is a hassle free healthy version of fried rice one can make dish up in rice cooker. No overnight rice needed. A perfect meal for a lazy weekends or even hot sunny summer. Here is a before and after cooking picture for your reference

1.5 large carrots, cubed
1/3 pack M&S Fine french beans, sliced thinly
Leftover frozen corns
1 tomato
(you may use frozen mixed vegetables or any vegetables of your choice)
1 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
1 cup basmati rice, wash and drained
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
3 slice smoked salmon, sliced thinly (may substitute with ham)
  1. Add all ingredients (besides smoked salmon) in rice cooker. Press cook to cook. I used a Toshiba electric smart cooker.
  2. Once cook, add in smoke salmon and fluff the rice. Close the lid for a short while.
  3. Serve

My iphone picture don't look good but I can assure you it taste good. One thing I have to make clear is the dish taste a lot better when eaten right away. The vegetables tends to turn "soft" when kept on keep warm mode for too long.
