Soya Barley with Gingko

Soya barley with gingko is one of my favourite Chinese dessert drink.

1/2 cup pearl barley (measured using rice cooker cup)
1.5 litre water
1 litre homemade soya milk
A handful gingko (peeled and centre seed removed)
Sugar/ Honey
  1. Add barley, gingko and water in pressure cooker. Let it cook for half an hour (countdown begins after the beeps). Alternatively you may coook the barley water with gingko in pot for an hour (on low fire) 
  2. Add soya milk and bring it to boil. I did not add sugar but you may. 
  3. Serve cold or warm
