How to blanch almond and Almond Oat Milk Recipe


Brain foods for hubby, me and baby brain development. We normally soak 500 gram dried almonds during the weekend and packed into 70 gram smaller pack to be stored in freezer. It's so easy to blanched when you know how to. Here's how we got ours done. It takes less than 30 minutes to remove 500 gram almond skins (from boiling hot water to the packing process).
  1. Soak almonds overnight. 
  2. Boil a pot of water. Once boil remove from stove. 
  3. Add the almonds (filtered) in hot water. Set alarm 5 minutes. Once alarm ring, filter the water.
  4. Pour in cold water. 
  5. Rub the almond with fingers to remove the skin


Almond Oat Milk
Serve 2
70 gram blanched almond
4 medjool dates (or any dates)
2 tbsp oat
2 cup water

Blend in blender for 5 minutes.
