Homemade Teriyaki Sauce (Teriyaki Glaze/ Reduction)


It's the last thing I intend to DIY. Now that I've tried, it will be the last thing I will buy and store in my kitchen cupboard. The sauce is so good... It's not salty or sweet like the one sold in over the counter. Give this a try...

Teriyaki Sauce (glaze or reduction version)
Yields approximately 1.5 cups

237g water
60g soya sauce
74g brown sugar
30g honey 
3g ground ginger 
2g garlic powder
30g cornflour + 59g water

Add water, soya sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic powder in saucepan. Stir till the sugar dissolve. Once done, add the slurry cornflour mixture. Simmer until thickened
