No brainer chicken curry


Here is one simple and easy chicken curry. Creamy. Thick. Not too spicy

3 cloves garlic
2 inches fresh ginger
1 onion
1 tsp turmeric
3/4 tsp chilli flakes
2 chicken breast
1 tomato
1 carrot
1 potato
1 Anlene plain yoghurt
coconut oil

  1. Blend garlic, ginger and onion in blender
  2. Heat coconut oil in pot. Saute the blended ingredients along with turmeric and chilli flakes for 2 to 3 minutes. Add garam masala and salt. Saute for another minute or so
  3. Stir in tomato, carrot and potato. Add in a little water. Cover the pot with a lid. Let it simmer gently on low fire for 15 to 20 minutes (till carrots and potatoes are soft)
  4. Add in chicken and yoghurt. Let it simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes (on low fire)
  5. Serve with rice or naan
